Oracle Security Server


This section contains information describing how to use the Oracle Net8 Assistant to configure Oracle Security Server with Net8. Oracle Security Server is a global centralized authentication and authorization framework that is based on public-key cryptography.

To configure Oracle Security Server with Net8:

  1. Click on "OSS" from the list of Available services.

  2. Click on the < or > arrows to move OSS from the Available Services list to the Selected Services list.

If you selected Oracle Security Server, you will need to specify additional parameters. Click on the "Parameters" tab to activate the panel. For more information on configuring Oracle Security Server parameters, click on "Oracle Security Server Parameters".
